There is no great awareness in developed countries that wealth, development, and innovation are closely linked to the ability to attract, initiate and strengthen relationships between the knowledge system (arts, creativity, science, the humanities) and the productive and reproductive system of society.
We can see that, in many economically advanced nations, science and the highest levels of knowledge appear to be gradually closing in on themselves, moving away from people and from the ability to affect everyday life. People have less and less understanding of this and manage to formulate opinions about the utility of the investments in this field.
For some time now, in the so-called advanced countries there has been a debate that, in my opinion, takes up this problem in a very powerful and significant way: it is referred to as the problem of the transformation of a society of knowledge into an economy of knowledge.
